Modern Day Disease

Modern age. The first that comes to many people’s minds is ‘spoilt teens’. (Yeah. Thank you, technology.) For other people it may click them as how it has helped in developing our lives. Others might think ‘Yeah. Right. Whatever.’ Like they don’t care or they don’t want to talk about it. There are many effects on the population of the world because of technology. Different people look at technology in different perspectives. Positive, negative, somewhere in between and some people even tend to ignore the topic as a whole as though they aren’t bothered. There are people who take technology as their own lives. Life motto à No technology = No life. Others don’t even have time to debate on the topic. Either they are just too occupied in their own business to even care or think about it, or they just don’t use anything related to technology (which, in today’s world, is not a very common sight).
The positive side of technology has many dimensions. There are those many times when technology (internet) has literally saved our lives. It helps in almost anything. The problem? Every single thing we need, INTERNET. Homework, definitions, games, chatting with friends and whatnot. Internet is our ultimate savior.
Each and everything has pros and cons. Coming to the negative side of technology, yeah, what about those kids who sit there and do nothing but sit on their laptop or cell phone all day long? Eyesight? Gone. Excessive fat? (No, offence) Don’t even talk about it. And of course stiff bones thanks to no exercise. What do they know about the joy of reading books let alone e-books? All the time it’s just Facebook, Google+, instagram, whatsapp, twitter, Linkedin, Tumblr, Flickr, meetme, Reddit, etc.

So, in a nutshell, technology has its own positives and negatives and as long as we realize how to use it in a reasonable way and sometimes surely for entertainment we would also have to use it in respectable amounts of time.
